NCB FIRST ENTERS BRAND FINANCE'S TOP 100 MOST VALUABLE BRANDS IN VIETNAM

On August 15, at the Announcement Ceremony of the Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2023, NCB entered the list of top prestigious brands by the world's leading brand valuation consulting company, Brand Finance.

Accordingly, NCB's brand value is highly regarded by Brand Finance, with a brand strength index of 62.8 points and the bank's brand rating index of A+.

NCB honored in the "Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2023"

According to Brand Finance, the Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2023 are evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: brand strength index, brand impact in the industry, business performance, and growth forecast. Brand Finance also determines the relative strength of brands through a balanced scorecard that includes metrics on marketing investment, shareholder equity, business efficiency, and ISO 20671 compliance.

Over the past two years, NCB has consistently undergone transformations with synchronized investments in products, technology, and human resources, thereby laying a crucial groundwork for the bank's restructuring process.​

In particular, technology has been a strong focus of the bank's investments and has received positive feedback from customers using the services. At the end of 2022, NCB upgraded the NCB iziMobile application for retail customers to a new version, which featured a superior interface and experience to be a compact, secure, modern "pocket-sized digital bank" that meets all the daily needs of customers. Additionally, the introduction of the NCB iziBankbiz digital banking application exclusive for corporate customers offered expanded decentralization and approval mechanisms to three flexible levels, realizing the bank's commitment to accompany businesses anytime, anywhere.

Previously, NCB also successfully upgraded the T24 core banking system to the new R21 version, which is highly expandable, easy to integrate with other systems, convenient for digital upgrades and transformation, enhancing service quality and customer experience. Currently, NCB is the first bank among credit institutions in Vietnam to adopt this latest version.

Most recently, on August 7, 2023, NCB officially opened a new, modern, and well-equipped branch at a prime location in the heart of Hanoi. This underscores the bank's dedication to reaching new heights, making strides in all areas, boosting competitiveness, and aiming to be a trustworthy financial advisor that delivers top-notch value to its customers. In addition, NCB  has officially partnered with a leading global consulting firm to implement a new strategy for the bank in the period 2023–2028 and in the long term.

The evaluation conducted by Brand Finance, a globally renowned brand valuation consulting firm, not only acknowledges NCB's recent endeavors but also inspires NCB to further fortify its infrastructure, promote digitalization, and improve service quality in order to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This will further bolster the confidence of investors and customers in NCB with regard to innovative progress and sustainable development, positively contributing to the development of the industry and economy.
