NCB IZIMOBILE RANKS AMONG TOP 10 QUALITY PRODUCTS & SERVICES IN ASIA 2024

On June 15, the National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) received the prestigious "Top 10 Quality Products and Services in Asia 2024" award for their NCB iziMobile digital banking application.

The award is part of the "Asia's Top Trusted Brand Awards" program, organized by the Vietnam Institute for Quality Assessment & Development (IQA) in collaboration with the Asia Ind's Information Promote Association (AIPA), Business Leaders' Forum, and Ho Chi Minh City Television. The award serves the purpose of recognizing esteemed brands as well as high-quality products and services that customers in the region trust and prefer.

In 2024, the program includes approximately 200 enterprises from various industries that have undergone meticulous evaluation and approval processes conducted by professionals. NCB's iziMobile has consistently improved its features and offerings over the past 2 years. Consequently, it has outperformed several competitors in the area and now holds a position among the top 10 excellent products and services in Asia for the year 2024.

Tran Thanh Mai, Deputy Director of the Institute for Research on Enterprise Quality Assessment and Human Resource Development, Representative of the Organizing Committee, said, "We acknowledge the significant advancement of the NCB iziMobile created by the National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank, which offers enhanced functionalities, with a strong emphasis on personalization and interactivity to enhance the customer experience.".

In the meantime, Mr. Ta Kieu Hung, the bank representative and General Director of NCB, stated, "The award is a significant source of motivation for us to continue to expedite, fortify, and enhance the quality of the digital banking ecosystem in order to better serve the diversified needs of our customers. NCB is also in the process of refining the digital experience, with the objective of creating a mobile application that offers a new interface and distinctive features, thereby providing customers with increased value."

NCB has recently prioritized digital transformation to enhance the customer experience and increase competitiveness. As part of this effort, they have upgraded the NCB iziMobile application to provide a sleek, secure, and contemporary "pocket bank." Customers may complete key financial transactions, such as free money transfers, automated service bill payments, withdrawals without a physical card, depositing savings, and flexible withdrawal of principle, in only a matter of minutes or even seconds.

NCB is perpetually digitizing its products and services to enhance the customer experience.

Specifically, in 2024, NCB has consistently introduced novel functionalities on the NCB iziMobile application, with a strong emphasis on providing a smooth user experience, versatile services, and the capacity to customize according to user preferences. An illustrative instance is the functionality of assigning an account alias, enabling customers to own a memorable and customized bank account with an alias, and substituting the customary account number for conducting digital banking transactions. Furthermore, the program provides customers with the convenience of instantaneously opening new virtual debit and credit cards online, allowing them to engage in online purchases immediately upon activation.

Thanks to the impending money notification function, the app also scores points with users who are store owners and household businesses, enabling the exceptionally easy, safe, and rapid operation of remote sales and income administration.

Not only does NCB iziMobile constantly reward customers with a variety of appealing promotions, cashbacks for customers who pay bills, top-up their phones on the 10th of every month from now until the end of September 2024, thereby providing ideal ease for customers in financial transactions.

NCB has developed the outstanding features and practical incentives on NCB iziMobile by thoroughly understanding the needs customers have and prioritizing their satisfaction. This customer-centric approach has earned the confidence and loyalty of users. As a result, the NCB iziMobile app consistently sustains a significant pace of growth.

According to the bank, customers' use of NCB iziMobile has grown by over 80% in the first five months of 2024, compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the number of newly activated customers rose 135% compared to the same period in 2023. The app ensures that transactions are precise, protected, and swift.

In both 2021 and 2023, NCB iziMobile received the prestigious title of "Most Innovative Retail Banking App Vietnam" from Global Banking & Finance. The Organizing Committee was impressed by the app's exceptional digital experiences and advanced technology, which made the customer verification procedure simpler.
